2022 WSBVI Summer School

We are sorry to announce that our “A Day in the Life” 2022 summer school program is canceled. We did not receive enough interest in time to be able to justify running the program. We hope to bring this wonderful event to life next year. We apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment this may have caused.

The Wisconsin Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired is still hosting the “Employability” and “Build It” youth programs as well as the adult summer program.

2022 Youth & Adult Summer Programs

The 2022 Summer EmployAbility Program is for students 16-21. This year the program will be back on campus. It is aimed at students who are ready and willing to work and participate in two weeks of classes.

WSBVI is offering two summer school programs for school aged children. Each program is a week-long residential experience with classes focusing on the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) at the school during the day and events in the dorms in the evening.

Online interest forms will be accepted until May 6th.

Glen Stacey Memorial Fund Committee Accepting Applications

The Glen Stacey Memorial fund was created in 1988, in honor of former WSBVI student, Glen Stacey. The funds may be used for equipment, programming, and projects that will directly benefit K-12 students who are blind and visually impaired and reside in Wisconsin.
