Cheryl Orgas will present on her career as a professional blind woman. Since 2007, Cheryl has been the Executive Director of Audio and Braille Literacy Enhancement, ABLE, in Milwaukee. With the use of trained volunteers, ABLE transcribes print information into braille, audio and tactile formats, creating access for print disabled individuals. Cheryl is a lifelong braille reader, a longtime user of ABLE services, a blind wife and mother and a leader in the blindness community.
This is a one hour webinar interviewing blind people in the work place. This session will cover career exploration, Role models, mentoring, skills for success, assistive technology, work accommodations, transportation options and more.
