Outreach WCBVI Open House with a Focus on AEM and AT

Have you ever wondered what the Wisconsin Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired (WCBVI) is all about? Now is your chance! The WCBVI Outreach team is inviting Teachers of the Blind and Visually Impaired (TVIs), Orientation and Mobility (O&M) Specialists, and others to an open house style event on the WCBVI campus, located at 1700 W. State Street in Janesville on Friday, October 27, beginning at 7:45 a.m., and ending at 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

You will have the opportunity to learn about the following programs and services for students who are blind and visually impaired in Wisconsin: Accessible Educational Materials (AEM), Assistive Technology (AT), Short Courses, Little PEANUTS Center, Blind Soccer, Residential WCBVI programs, trial placements at the Wisconsin School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (WSBVI), Low Vision Clinics, and accessing the WCBVI library, including our professional materials collection.

There is no cost for registration. There will be time to meet and exchange ideas with your colleagues.
