Updated WCBVI Closure Letter

WSBVI CLOSED on March 16 and will remain CLOSED for an undetermined amount time in order to comply with Governor Evers’ “Safer At Home” Order

    March 30, 2020

    Hello WSBVI Families,

The Wisconsin School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (WSBVI) will remain closed until further notice to comply with Governor Evers “Safer At Home” order. The safety of our students and their families is most important during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

At this time WSBVI is preparing remote learning activities for our students. A letter providing information regarding WSBVI remote learning was sent by mail and email to families. While we wish we were working in person with students, we are excited to offer remote learning to our students as we practice the “Safer At Home” guidelines which will increase safety for Wisconsin residents at this time.

The DPI remains in constant communication with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and the Wisconsin Department of Administration as we continue monitoring this evolving situation.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding as we work through this unprecedented time together. Stay safe everyone!

    Sincerely,
