With very few modifications, wrestling is a sport that is extremely easy for a student with visual impairments to compete in.  At the beginning of the match, the two wrestlers simply start with their hands lightly touching and then, due to the nature of the sport, can feel the movements of the other wrestler and act accordingly.  As with wrestling in a public high school, students learn strategy, work on strength training, and practice with peers to fine tune their skills.  The wrestling season runs concurrently with the Cheerleading season and the two teams travel to various meets across the Midwest to compete with their visually impaired peers.
