Adult Summer Program

The WCBVI Adult Summer Program is a one-week program designed to build life skills and introduce exciting new activities at home, at work and in the community. the 2020 program will be held from Sunday, June 21 through Friday, June 26, 2020 on the WCBVI campus in Janesville.

Participants must pass a background check and be independent in self-care and in managing their own medication. Space is limited with priority given to first time attendees.

Target Audience

Wisconsin adults who are blind or visually impaired.


Free, although participants are encouraged to bring a small amount of spending money.


Overnight accommodations and meals will be provided.


Participants are responsible for transportation to and from WCBVI.


This year’s offerings will include technology, orientation and mobility, health and fitness, cooking, braille and print communications, and self-advocacy.


Please fill out the online interest form. After receiving the Interest Form, those who are selected will receive a registration packet. Others who are not initially selected will be included on a wait list.
