    The WCBVI has state-of-the-art technology and equipment. With the help of technology, students gain access to the world around them. We offer K-12 students the opportunity to use and learn everything from computer basics, advanced internet usage, and the latest in Assistive Technology.  Assistive Technologies such as voice activated computers, screen readers, speech to text applications and magnification devices are opening up new worlds of information which were previously unavailable. Our computer systems are specifically configured to meet the needs of students with visual impairments. Our systems have screen reading capabilities, screen magnification programs, scan and read stations, refreshable Braille displays, CCTV hookups and more.
