Meghan grew up in Freeport, Illinois and attended Illinois State University, earning a bachelors in Special Education with an emphasis in Low Vision and Blindness, as well as an endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education. Upon graduating, she accepted as job as a TVI in Wichita, KS. Following her first year of teaching, she returned to college to earn my master's degree at Northern Illinois University in the area of Special Education, with an emphasis on Orientation and Mobility. She is active in Wisconsin’s AER chapter, Wisconsin National Agenda, the Superintendent’s Advisory Council, and is an Instructional Coach.
In her personal life, she enjoys gardening, spending time in her husband's 3rd grade classroom, volunteering at the local humane society, and fostering animals with her husband.
